Serra d’Aire e Candeeiros
Created in 1979, this Natural Park has the world’s largest collection of sauropod dinosaur footprints from the mid Jurassic period (175 million years old).
Located near the pilgramage site of Fatima this limestone massif has the biggest cave system - one of the the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal
For us at GMTBiking this is a rock land playground, where olive trees flourish and water springs from the limestone.
